Albany,Or.,Oct.4-(Special)- Mrs.V.H.Caldwell,a pioneer woman who has spent 
half a century in Oregon,died at the family home four miles southwest of 
Albany this morning at 2 o'clock. she came to Oregon at an early day,crossing 
the plains from Ohio. She is surived by a husband and 14 children. She was a 
member of the First Baptist Church of Riverside
