Edward Ranson Burton
Edwrad Ranson Burton, who was born August 20,1856, at Ymhill,Or., to John 
James and Margarte Watson Burton,pioneers of 1844,died November 28,according 
to word received here yesterday.He received his education in Oregon schools 
and passed the entire span of his lige in this state.
Mr.Burton married Mary Withycombe at Farmington,Ore,October 20,1880.Besides 
his widow,Mary W.Burton,he issurvived by five children,Mrs. Leah 
Powell,Mrs.Amy Brooks,Mrs.Mildred Walling and Frank C.Burton.The latter 
resides at Sacremento,Cal. and the four former al live in Portland.Two 
sisters,Mrs.Louisa Anthony,Detroit,Mich;Mrs.Margaret Hawley,Portland; and a 
brother,Lincoln C.Burton of Los Angeles,Cal., aslo survive
