Rev. Father Thompsoon conducted the impressive and stately mass, and the pallbearers were John Kelly,Michael Owens, Thomas Whalen,P.B.Sinnot,Charles De Burgh, Charles A.Malarkey. Internment was had at St.Mary's Cemetery,where Mr. Brady was buried by the side of his brother,bernard, and his two children, Edward and Fannie. Mr.Brady was a well known contractor of Portland,his last notable work being the Union block, at First and Stark streets. He was born in Dublin,Ireland,81 years ago, and came to Portland in 1859. His diligent attention to business he ammassed a considerable property, and some 20 years ago he retired from active business,continuing to direct his property interests,which under careful management will now provide his family in very comfortable circumstances. Mr.Brady's death was due to cerebral hemorrhage,with which he was seized at his seaside home house at Long Beach some ten days ago. he was brought home immediately and everything that medical skill could do was brought into requisition, but to no avail. He gradually grew weaker until Saturday morning,October 1,when he passed peacefully away. He is survived by his widow, Mrs.Margaret Brady, and his daughter,Mrs.George Vogt.The members of the bereaved family have the sympathy of many friends in their heavy loss.
