W. Morrow, County Clerk I, Henry Welch of the town of Heppner, County of Morrow and State of Oregon, being of sound mind and memory; do by these presents make this my last will and testament. 1st: Whereas I have made and accumulated nearly all of my present property both personal and real by and with the assistance of my beloved wife Emma Welch, I therefore give, bequeath and devise all my estate real and personal of which I may die seized; (except as hereinafter mentioned) after paying my funeral expenses and just debts, to my said wife Emma Welch for her use and benefit to do with, sell or dispose of in any way and manner that may to her seem just and proper. Having and reposing in my wife Emma Welch, full and complete confidence that she will in all things do and cause to be done, what is just right and for the best interest of the children born of our marriage and now living viz: Henry Welch, Otis Welch, Emma Welch and Annie Welch I give and bequeath and devise under her the said Emma Welch as aforesaid all of my property both real and personal (except s hereinafter named) and with the same commend to her motherly care and keeping my said children hereinbefore named. 2nd. I further give and bequeath unto each of my said children, Henry Welch, Otis Welch, Emma Welch and Annie Welch the sum of two hundred dollars the said sum to be paid by my executrix out of the first money coming into her hands, after paying my funeral expenses and just debts, provided that she shall pay to none of my said children the above bequest until he or she shall have reached the age of eighteen years. 3rd. I hereby appoint my said wife Emma Welch sole executrix of this my last will and testament, without security or bond. 4th. I further will that no inventory or appraisement of the estate of which I may die seized be made or required of my said executrix as I full and complete confidence in my beloved wife Emma Welch and desire to have her take full and entire control of all the property either real or personal of which I may die seized without any unnecessary hindrance or delay. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 2d day of June A.D. 1891 at the town of Heppner, County of Morrow and State of Oregon. Henry Welch (seal) The above and foregoing instrument consisting of two and a part of the third page of legal cap, was subscribed by the said Henry Welch in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us, and he at the same time published and declared the same, so subscribed to be his last will and testament and we, at the testator's request, and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have signed our names as witnesses thereto this second day of June A.D. 1891.
