In the name of God Amen,

I, James C. Franklin of Lena, Morrow County, State of Oregon of the age of
sixty seven years and being of osund and disposing mind and memory, and not
acting under duress, menace, fraud or undue influence of any person whatsoever
do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner
following, that is to say:

First, That all my personal and property and real estate shall be sold to the
best possible advantage. That from the proceeds all my just debts shall first
be paid.

Second, To my son O. J. Franklin I will and bequeath one dollar lawful money
of the United States.

One half of the remainder I will and bequeath to my beloeved wife Ruah
Franklin and the interest which the remaining half shall produce during her
lifetime.

The remaining half I will and bequeath to J. P. Bushee to be his and his heirs
after the death of my beloved wife Ruah Franklin.

Lastly, I nominate and appoint J. P. Bushee the executor of this my last will
and Testament without giving bonds and herebyr evoke all former wills made by
me.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 26 day of May one
thousand eight hundred and eighty six.

The foregoing instrument consisting of one page beside this was at the date
thereof by the said James C. Franklin, signed, sealed and published as and
declared to be his last will and testament in presence of us who at his
request and in his prsence [sic] of us who at his request and in his prsence
[sic] and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses
thereto.
