Filed for the record and probate June 9th 1880. Letters Testamentary filed Oct. 10th 1894, J. W. Morrow Clerk J. B. Keeney, clerk To all Persons to whom these presence shall come greeting, Know ye that the will of Robert Douglass, deceased, a copy of which is hereto attached has been duly proven in the County Court for the County aforesaid, and that William M. Douglass who is named as executor therein, has been duly appointed such executor by the Court aforesaid this therefore authorizes the said William M. Douglass to administer the estate of the said Robert Douglass, deceased according to law. In testimony whereof I, J. B. Keeney, clerk of the said County Court have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court, this 3 day of August 1888. [seal - County Court, Umatilla Co., State of Oregon] J. B. White, deputy State of Oregon, County of Umatilla] ss It do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Oregon, and that I will faithfully perform, according to law, the duties of executor of the estate of Robert Douglass, deceased, so help me God, Will In the name of God, I Robert Douglass of the County of Umatilla, State of Oregon of the age of thirty three years, and being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner following that is to say. I give and bequeath to my son William M. Douglass all my real estate and personal property of all kinds I may be possessed of at the time of my death, the following sums of money to be paid by said William Douglass to my children. First: To Ann Eliza the sum of two hundred dollars. Second: To Sophy Jane the sum of two hundred dollars. Third: To John Levi the sum of two hundred dollars. I hereby appoint my son the said William M. Douglass sole executor of this my last Will and Testament without requiring any security whatever. Robert [his mark x] Douglass The within instrument was at the date thereof signed, sealed published and declared by the said Robert Douglass and for his last will and testament in presenc eof us, at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witness thereto and the above instrument was at the date thereof declared to us by the said Robert Douglass the testator therein mentioned, to be his last will and testament, and he at the same acknowledged to as and to each of us that he signed and sealed the same and we thereupon at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, signed our names thereunto as attesting witnesses dated the 23rdof March 1880.
