W. Morrow, Clerk The Last will and testament of Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Allyn, wife of Pettysville, Morrow County,Oregon. I, Ann Elizabeth Allyn considering the uncertainty of this mortal ife and being of sound mind and memory (Blessed be Almighty God for the same) do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say). First, I give and bequeath unto Frederick Gienger, now of Pilot Rock, Umatilla County, Oregon, John Gienger, now of Hamilton, Grant County, Oregon, Catherine Pettys (wife of Manuel Pettys), Caroline Sparks, Louisa Rose and Mary Fry, the following property (Real Estate) to wit: the NW 1/4 of Section 20 in Township 1 North of Range 24 East Willamette Meridian. The said quarter section to be sold and the proceeds divided equally between the said above named heirs after my death. I also give and bequeath my home place containing 162 (One Hundred and Sixty- two) acres on Willow Creek, Morrow County, Oregon to my beloved husband Thomas Jefferson Allyn for his use and benefit during his natural life; after his death this property with the stock and chattels connected therewith (what may be remaining on the place) to go to George Wasington Gienger my soon [sic son]. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 26th day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-Eight.
