From Keno, go west on Highway 66, cross Topsy Brige and turn right at the Keno Access Road. Take the first right onto a gravel road. Continue past the reservoir and take the first right onto a bumby, dirt road up a hillside. The cemetery is on the right side. Cemetery is located approx. 1/2 mile from the Keno Access Road. Hiram E Spencer and his wife Mary Elizabeth Spencer homesteaded down on the other side of the cemetery. The cemetery was named after these pioneers. In 1967 there were 10 gravesites visible when read by DAR. However, some stones are now missing as of 2004 unfortunately due to vandalism. This baby died at birth and was never given a name. ** Marcus R Anderson, father of Marion R and Marcus R and brother of Asberry, is purportedly buried here as well- according to a DAR record of 1962 and family history. DAR reported he was age 74. However, this stone has not been found and was perhaps confused with his son, Marcus R "age 47". ***Note that this is a replacement stone and I believe the original stone was marked "GRUBB. She was the wife of W.E.Grubb.
