Chas. Miller, H. M. Barnes to Mrs. A. Hackett. We extend our congratulations and wish the happy couple a longlife of unalloyed bliss. Additional Comments: This is Horace M. Barnes and Adaline Hackett Barnes. In the 1880 US Census, Siskiyou County, California census, they have a daughter, Emma Barnes, born in about 1880. Horace was 54 years old, born in New York, Adaline was 34 years old, born in Wisconsin, Emma was 1 month old, born in California and Adaline's daughter, Mary, was 15 years old, born in California. In the 1870 Siskiyou County census, Adaline is a seamstress and Mary is living with her. There is no man in the household. The 1860 US Census, Siskiyou County, California has Adaline Axtell, age 14, born in Wisconsin. This is likely this Adaline Hackett Barnes.
