Medford (Oregon) Mail, Friday, 19 Oct 1900, p. 7, c. 1 
Married–-Bellinger-Arthurs. There was quite a wedding ceremony performed at 
the cozy, new home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Slover, on Sunday afternoon, October 
14th. The contracting parties were Mr. John H. Bellinger and Miss Jennie 
Arthurs, both of Jackson County. The ceremony was performed by Rev. O.J. Gist 
in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. A. Slover and Miss Maggie Bellinger. After the 
words had been said which made the happy couple husband and wife, they were 
escorted to the depot where Mr. and Mrs. Bellinger took the train for Portland 
to be absent a week or ten days. The many friends of this estimable couple are 
anxiously awaiting their return from Portland that their heartiest 
congratulations may be extended. The Mail is one of thei friends and it is 
profuse in its congratulations. Our wish is that as life’s rugged path is 
being trodden only sunshine, pleasure and prosperity may be encountered and 
that all of these may be their lot and in measures to overflowing.
