F. Arnold, on Pacific highway, Dec. 20, 1917, at high noon, Susie E. Arnold was united in marriage to Cyrus P. Good, Elder B. C. Tabor, a close friend of the bride for many years, officiating. Owing to the delicate health of her mother, and the loss of a sister the past year, only the immediate relatives were present. The bride received her education largely in the Ashland schools and graduated as a trained nurse from the Portland sanitarium in 1904 and received her registration from the state in 1911. She is well and favorably known in both Oregon and California, holding the position of superintendent of the Southern Oregon hospital two years and the Granite City hospital four years. Her genial personality, skillful nursing and tender sympathy for the poor and afflicted as well as the more favored won for her a legion of friends who unite in wishing her well-deserved happiness. Her dress was plain white silk, a model of simplicity. No ornaments were worn. The groom wore the conventional black. The bride being an ardent supporter of and tireless worker for the Red Cross, and in view of the critical times which confront us, requested her mother to serve a wholesome, nourishing dinner, omitting the delicacies which usually accompany such accessions, thus showing her loyalty in a good cause. Mr. Good has made Ashland his home for four years and has a host of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Good were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts showing the love and esteem in which both are held. They departed on the afternoon train for their new home at Long Beach, Calif.
