VAN HARDENBERG, Joseph, Medford (Oregon) Mail, Friday, 14 Feb 1902, p. 5,
Eagle Point Eaglets: Quite a number of the young folks from here attended the
funeral of Joseph Van Hardenberg at the Central Point cemetery last Saturday.
Mr. Van Hardenberg formerly lived in this neighborhood and was a highly
respected young man. He had been pitcher in the Eagle Point base ball team
since its organization and was a favorite with all the boys. He leaves a large
number of friends here to mourn his loss.
