May 1880, supplement, p. 2: Near Ashland, April 30th, of
apoplexy, Louisa, wife of Claiborne
Neil; aged 58 years. 

Mrs. Neil was the mother of J. R. Neil, Esq., of this place. She
leaves a
large family to mourn her loss, which is regretted by all who
knew her.
