FESIL, Jack, Jacksonville (Oregon) Reveille, Saturday, 25 Jan
1868: Died on Tuesday night, while the beauty and gaiety of
Jacksonville had met, resolved to "chase the glowing hours with
flying feet" and oblivious to everything, save the blissful
present, Jack Fesil, a native of Germany, breathed his last at
the County Hospital. Truly, one half of the world is ignorant of
the doings of other half - and careless.
