FERRY - Word was received in Medford today of the death of Corporal
Jefferson Ferry, former resident of Medford, and the brother of Mrs. J. E.
Watt of this city. Mr. Ferry died at an advanced age at his home in Los
Angeles. He was a member of the 49th Wisconsin Company G in the Civil war,
and while a resident of Medford for several years, he was a member of the
local G. A. R. post.
