HARRY L. YOUNG DIES FROM OPERATION A particularly sad death is that of Mrs. Edna May Young, wife of Harry L. Young, for the past six years one of the Mail tribune's linotypers. Mrs. Young underwent an operation at the hospital Saturday and was apparently on the way to recovery when a hemorrhage caused her to pass away at midnight Monday, Dec. 1. She was a native of Indiana, coming to Medford six years ago. After a brief residence here, Mr. and Mrs. Young took up a homestead near Brownsboro where she has since resided. Only a few days ago the homestead was proved up on. She leaves three children, the eldest her daughter, Mildred, and two sons, William and Harry. The funeral will be held at Weeks & McGowan's chapel Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock, interment at I. O. O. F. cemetery, Rev. Shields officiating. Mrs. Young was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends who deeply mourn her loss and regret her untimely end. Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Tuesday, 2 Dec 1913, p. 2 OBITUARY. DIED. YOUNG - Edna May Young, wife of Harry L. Young, died at midnight December 1, at the Sacred Heart hospital from the result of an operation performed Saturday. She was a native of Indiana, aged 41, coming here with her family six years ago, and residing on a homestead near Brownsboro. She leaves a husband, daughter, Mildred, and two sons, William and Harry. Funeral services will be held at the Weeks & McGowan chapel at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning. Interment at Oddfellows cemetery. Rev. W. F. Shields officiating.
