Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Thursday, 26 Mar 1925 
David McCray Wood, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Wood passed away at 
Sacred Heart hospital March 25 from acute mastoiditis, aged eight years, 11 
months, 14 days. He had been ill for the past three weeks and was taken to the 
hospital twelve days ago. David was a pupil of the Washington school and of 
the third grade. He had a bright and sunny disposition and was loved by all of 
his school mates and friends. He is survived by his parents and one sister, 
Helen. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral home, Friday at 2:30 
p.m., Rev. E. P. Lawrence officiating. Interment in Medford cemetery.
