Mrs. Wood was born in Willmington [sic], Ohio, Aug. 28, 1846, where they lived until 1853, when they moved to Harlan, Mont. In 1910 Miss Gilpin was married to Nathaniel Wolary and to this union five children were born: Mrs. W. J. McConnell of Canada; Mrs. Ivy Opinger, Central Point, Oregon; Alfa Wolary, Cinook, Mont.; Mrs. Ada Mathe[w]s, Ashland, Ore. Jan. 29, 1913, her husband, Mr. Wolary died. Later, in 1914, she again married, Marvin S. Wood, in Eagle Point, where they have since lived, until her recent illness, when she was moved to the home of her daughter so she could have better care. Besides her many friends and children, Mrs. Wood leaves to mourn her loss sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist church of Eagle Point, and of the Relief Corps of Central Point. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Monday, Feb. 4, 1:30 p. m., Rev. Stille of Trail officiating. Interment in the Central Point cemetery.
