WINNINGHAM DIES IN J'VILLE Mark Winningham, 79, a resident of Jacksonville for 78 years, passed away there today. He was born in Eugene, the son of James and Mary Jane Winningham, and came to Jackson County by covered wagon in October 1868. In Sept. 1890, at Trail, he was united in marriage to Nancy Mae Pence, who passed away in 1901. Surviving children are Mrs. Fred Stickle, Mrs. Harry Wood, and Robert E. Winningham, all of Seattle, and William W. Winningham, Jacksonville. There are 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, also two brothers and three sisters, C. C. Winningham, Yreka [CA]; J. B. Winningham, Jacksonville; Mrs. Minnie Baker, Vancouver, B.C.; Mrs. Ella Russell, Medford, and Mrs. Pearl Whitney, Jacksonville. Services will be held in the Conger-Morris chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in Logtown cemetery.
