WILSON, LONG A RESIDENT, TAKEN BY DEATH Harry L. Wilson, 68, well known resident of Medford where he has spent the last 37 years, passed away at his home, 717 Oak street, at 1:50 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Wilson has been in failing health for some time. He was born at Ainsworth, Ia., Nov. 29, 1875. He came west 40 years ago and for three years resided at Roseburg. Soon after arrival here he accepted employment with the Medford Furniture and Hardware Co., where he worked for about 10 years. He then was employed by the Weeks and Orr Furniture Co., which position he held for 25 years, retiring only a short time ago. Besides his wife, Maggie Wilson, he leaves one son, Walter L. Wilson of Medford. A daughter, Ermina Glass, passed away in 1929. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Lulie Bishop and Mrs. Emmazetta Lontz of Medford and Mrs. Lydia Bishop of Idaville, Ind. Also one brother, Ray E. Wilson of Jacksonville. One grand-child, Richard Wilson, Medford. Deceased was a member of Woodmen of the World. Funeral services will be held in the Conger-Morris chapel at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Elder G. A. Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Medford I.O.O.F. cemetery.
