White passed away at her home two miles southeast of Rogue River Sunday morning. Death was due to pneumonia, which was developed from a recent attach of influenza. She was born in Davis county, Missouri, October 21, 1862, and when a small child came with her parents to Oregon, settling in Jackson county where she has since resided and become one of the best known citizens of her locality. She was married at Medford December 24, 1878, to Chas. E. White, who departed this life in 1905. Those who are left to mourn her passing are two sons, Harry L. and Ralph F. White of Rogue River, and one sister and three brothers, E. L. Farra, Central Point, John D. and Samuel Farra, Paisley, Ore., and Lucy Singletary, Brownsville, Ore., also three grandchildren., Funeral services in charge of Conger Funeral Parlors will be held at the residence at 2:30 Wednesday, at which the Rebekah lodge of Rogue River, of which she was Noble Grand, will take an active part. Interment in Rock Point cemetery. WHITE, Mary F., Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 15 May 1925, p. 4: Mrs. Mary F. White passed away Sunday morning at her home two miles southeast of Rogue River. Her death was caused by pneumonia, following an attach of flu. Mrs. White was an old resident of this community and has a host of friends who will miss her from our midst. She was born in Missouri October 21, 1862, and came to Jackson county when a small child and has lived here most of the time since. In 1878 she was married at Medford to Charles White, and to this union were born four sons. The father and two sons preceded her several years ago. Two sons and three grandchildren are left to mourn her loss, besides two brothers and one sister. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Gray officiating. Interment in the Rock Point cemetery. The Rebekahs had charge of the services at the grave. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Conger Funeral Parlors of Medford. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
