Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 16 March 1925 
Edward C. Welch, who has lived in Jackson county the greater part of his life, 
passed away at his home just outside the limits of southwest Medford at 12:50 
Sunday morning. He was born in Portland Sept. 4, 1877. Aged 47 years. He came 
to Jackson county when a small boy and is well known. For the past few years 
he has been engaged in the nursery business in and about Medford.
Besides his wife, Zella Welch, he leaves four children, Ardeth Welch, Elmo, 
Calvin and Donald, all of Medford.
Funeral services will be held at the Conger chapel at 2 p. m. Tuesday, Rev. E. 
P. Lawrence officiating. Interment in Central Point cemetery.
