Mr. Weeks was born near Eagle Point, Oregon, on Oct. 10, 1863, being over 80 years of age. His parents came to southern Oregon by ox team in 1853 from Tennessee, and spent the first night in Phoenix, later living in Jacksonville, in the Applegate and later settling near Eagle Point. He was a farmer and leaves a host of friends. He is survived by one brother, George Weeks of Trail, the last of eleven children. Mr. Weeks attended the schools at Eagle Point. Funeral services will be conducted from the Trail Community church on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Bleigh officiating. Interment will take place in the Trail cemetery.
