Sunday. Mr. Webber was born in Iowa, Jan. 28, 1844 and was aged 84 years, 10 months, 25 days. He was a veteran of the Civil war and served as scout captain. His membership in the G. A. R. was with the Gold Hill post. After the war, Mr. Webber moved to Kansas where he reared his family, and from there he came to Oregon. Besides his wife Minnie Webber, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Abi Tompkins of Byers, Kan., Mrs. Mary Abbott, St. Johns, Kan., and three sons, Frank Webber, Garden Home, Ore., John of East Syracuse, Kan., and Allen Webber of Dodge City, Kan. Also several grandchildren, one of which, Edward F. Webber resides in Medford. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1L30 p. m. Wednesday. Rev. E. P. Lawrence will officiate and interment will be in Gold Hill cemetery. Conger Funeral Parlors in charge.
