Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 26 Apr 1926, p. 3, c. 2 
John S. Watts passed away at the home of his mother, Mrs. Caroline Casebeer, 
514 Beatty street, this city, this morning, at the age of 45 years. Mr. Watts 
was born at Lakeview, Oregon, September 2, 1880, and came to Medford from Bly, 
Oregon, one month ago for medical treatment. He leaves, besides his mother, 
his wife, Irene Watts and one child, John Thomas. Also one brother, James O. 
Watts of Bly, Oregon, and one half-brother and one half-sister. Funeral 
services will be held at the Conger chapel at 2:00 p. m., Tuesday. Rev. Temple 
will officiate and interment will be in Jacksonville cemetery.
