Warner, 81, a resident of Trail, Oregon, since 1901, passed away at a local hospital late Thursday night, after a brief illness. Mrs. Warner was born at Kahoka, Mo., January 30, 1860. She came to Oregon with her father when she was ten years of age. They settled near Hood River, where she attended school. Later she taught in the school at Hood River for several years. She was united in marriage to John W. Warner in 1876. He passed away in September 1916. Mrs. Warner will be remembered by a host of friends for her kindliness and generosity and the help she gave others. She was beloved by all who knew her. She was a life long member of the First Christian church, and was very active in Sunday school work. She was the mother of nine children, six of whom survive, three daughters, Mrs. Mary C. Fry, Mrs. Hazel Cushman and Mrs. Katie Ash, all of Trail; three sons, Ray Warner, of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, Fred and John Warner of Trail. Twenty grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted in the Community church at Trail, Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will take place in Trail cemetery. Perl funeral home in charge.
