Easter Venita Walch passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital Sunday morning 
after a week’s illness of pneumonia. The deceased was born in Eagle Point 
April 16, 1911, and was 15 years and 9 days old. She leaves to mourn her 
departure her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Draper Walch, one sister, Ruby, and two 
brothers, Jacob and Lewis. Her grandmother, Mrs. Katie Walch and other 
relatives. Easter was a student in the Liberty School of the Eagle Point 
district and would have graduated this fall. The death of Easter comes as a 
shock to the community and the family, owing to the death of Miss Edna Rose 
Walch a year ago this May from the same cause, Edna just having passed her 
17th birthday. The funeral services will be held from the Perl Funeral home 
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. Howe of the Christian church 
officiating. Interment will be made in the Medford cemetery, beside her 
sister.
