Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Wednesday, 20 July 1949, p. 9, c. 4 
Tillie Henrietta Walch, better known as “Mom” Walch, Rt. 1, box 419, Talent, 
Oregon, passed away here July 19. Mrs. Walch was born at Lake Creek, Oregon, 
March 26, 1892. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Drape Walch and 
two sons, Louis and Jake, of Talent; two daughters, Marcene Palacios of 
Medford, and Mrs. Ruby Robins of Bella Vista, Calif.; one brother, William 
Messal of Lake Creek; one sister, Mrs. Rose Summers, Oreville [sic], Calif.; 
eight grandchildren, Judy Ann, Jannet, Carla, Gray and Jean Walch of Talent; 
also Annabella and Marjorie Robbins of Bella Vista, Calif. Funeral services 
will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Friday at 3 p. m. with the Rev. 
W. A. Dawes officiating. Interment will follow in IOOF cemetery of Medford.
