TURPIN Mrs. Lucie Alta Turpin, wife of Charles W. Turpin, residing near Medford, and former chief of police of the latter city, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Pankey in Ashland, Friday morning, of appendicitis, aged 39 years. The deceased was a native daughter of this county, her maiden name being Wade. She leaves four children besides an infant 10 days old. Mrs. Van R. Gilbert, Horace, Wallis and Mazie. The funeral was held yesterday, at the Christian Church in Central Point, the interment being at the cemetery at that place.
