Tucker, 84, who has resided in Jackson County for nearly 50 years, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. M. Morris in Central Point at 10:45 p.m. yesterday. Mr. Tucker was born in Illinois, October 8, 1858. He was united in marriage at Wood Lake, Neb., on July 14, 1891, to Margaret Hart, who survives. Five years later, they came west by wagon and settled at Brownsboro where they resided until five years ago, since which time they have resided at Rogue River. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Mrs. W. M. Morris, Central Point; Mrs. P. A. Henry of Medford, and Earl Tucker who is now a Japanese prisoner of war overseas. Funeral services will be held in the Conger chapel at 2 p. m. Saturday with the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in Central Point cemetery.
