The funeral of Mrs. Mary E. Tripp was held Thursday morning at the residence, 
11 Tripp street, interment being in I. O. O. F. cemetery, the Rev. Rollins of 
the First M. E. church officiating. Mrs. Tripp died Tuesday, January 15, at 
her home, where she had lived many years. She was in her 82d year, having been 
born March 13, 1836, in Oakland county, Michigan. She came to Oregon with her 
family in 1886 and in the fall of 1894 settled in Medford. She is survived by 
a son, John Tripp, of Medford, with whom she had made her home, and a 
daughter, Mrs. John Wilkie, also of Medford.
