Mrs. Tice was born in Colusa county, Calif., on July 8, 1859. She was united in marriage to Fred Tice on October 11, 1878 near Gold Hill at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Dodge. Mrs. Tice had been a Rebekah for over 40 years and was active until a few years ago. She also belonged to the Neighbors of Woodcraft lodge. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Henry Smith, Tacoma, Wash.; Ralph Tice, Chehalis, Wash.; Fred Tice, Seattle, Wash.; Olive Tice, Brownsboro, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Clem Sutton, Sacramento, Cal.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Dr. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Medford I.0.O.F. cemetery. Pallbearers will be from the Oddfellows lodge and the Rebekahs will have charge of the services at the graveside.
