Graveside services for William L. Thurman, former resident of Medford and
vicinity who passed away August 13 in a Seattle, Wash., hospital were held
at Siskiyou Memorial park, Medford, this morning with interment following.
Funeral services were conducted Friday in Seattle.

Mr. Thurman was a member of the volunteer fire department for a number of
years while in Medford. He was also a member of the Christian Advent church
and at the time of his death his membership was in the Lewiston, Idaho,
church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Thurman of Seattle, two sons, Robert
of Seattle, and Donald, U.S. army, one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Daniels of
Seattle, two half sisters and three grandchildren.
