THORNBURG, Jonathan Rush, Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Saturday, 11 Jul
1925, p. 2: Jonathan Rush Thornburg, well known resident of Medford for the
past 23 years, passed away at Sacred Heart hospital at 3:30 yesterday after
a lingering illness due to Bright's disease. 

Deceased was born at Memphis, Tenn., in December 1860 and was 65 years of
age. He came to Oregon 30 years ago and prior to his residence in Medford
his home was in Roseburg.

He leaves four children, Mrs. R. E. Wilson, Medford, Mrs. J. W. Muir and
Guy Thornburg of Inglewood, Calif., and Vina Thornburg, Colfax, Calif.

Funeral service will be held at the Conger Funeral Parlors at 2:30 Sunday.
Rev. De Yoe officiating. Interment in I.O.O.F. cemetery.
