Thomas, well known resident of Medford, who passed away very suddenly at Pateros, Wash., will arrive in Medford Sunday. Mr. Thomas had completed a brief visit with his son after transacting business in Wenatchee and was at the depot awaiting the train on his return to Medford when suddenly stricken. He was a devout member of the First M. E. church and an esteemed member of the Order of Odd Fellows. Funeral arrangements are in care of Conger Funeral Parlors and will be held Monday at 10 a. m. Mr. Thomas was born July 5, 1865 in Utah, while en route to Oregon in a "covered wagon."
