Taylor. Robert Taylor, of the firm High & Taylor, saloon men, in Ashland, committed suicide at his uncle’s ranch, south of Ashland, during Wednesday forenoon. He shot himself through the heart with a shotgun. He was seemingly all right when the farm help left in the morning and when they returned at noon his body was found in the woodshed where the deed was committed. Mr. Taylor was alone at the house at the time, his family living in Ashland. No reason is known for his act and his friends are at a loss to account for it. He was in Ashland on Christmas day and ate dinner with the family. He was forty-five years of age. Dr. Pickel is holding an inquest as we go to press (Thursday). The funeral will be held on Saturday at 2 o’clock.
