Swager passed away at the home of his son, C. L. Swager, 721 Beekman street at 11:15 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 29 at the age of 55 years. Mr. Swager was born at Portland, Ore., Jan. 18, 1873. When at the age of 18 years he moved to Eugene and in that city was married to Mabel Clair Cloek. To this union were born two children, they are, Carl Lester of this city and Mrs. Earl C. Leever of San Francisco. Also two brothers, Alfred L. Swager of Felida, Wash., and Martin V., San Francisco; also one sister, Mrs. John Eubanks of Portland. His wife also survives. Funeral services will be held at the Conger chapel, West Main at Newtown street, at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Carmen E. Mell of the Christian church will officiate and interment in Medford cemetery.
