Aged 69 years, 8 months and 12 days. He was born in Sanlac county, Michigan, August 1, 1885 [sic], and was married to Catherine Rooney November 12, 1885 at Ross Common, Michigan. There were four children born to this union, three daughters and one son. One son and daughter passed away. Deceased had been a hotel proprietor at Caro, Michigan for ten years, and connected with a lumbering business at Cheboygan, Mich., for nine years, being interested in the timber business at Portland up to the present time. The family have been residents of Medford for the past five years, Mr. Stoken being proprietor of the Cozy Nook confectionary. Deceased was a member of the Centralia lodge of Elks, Centralia, Wash. The funeral services will be held at the Catholic church, Friday at nine a.m., Rev. Father Black officiating. Interment in Medford cemetery. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Perl Funeral Home. The Altar Society will offer prayer at the Perl Funeral Home at 7:30 tonight.
