The family home is in Talent. Mrs. Stevens was born in Macon county, Illinois, November 29, 1868. She spent her early girlhood in Nebraska and came to Southern Oregon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bradshaw, in 1885. She was united in marriage to George W. Stevens in November, 1891, in Jacksonville. Mr. Stevens survives as do two children, Mrs. Ralph Jennings, Talent, and Mrs. John C. Malone, Route 1, Coleman Creek Road, also two grandchildren, Marilyn and Beverly Malone, at home. Mrs. Stevens, during her nearly sixty years in Southern Oregon, had seen many changes take place. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in November, 1941. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Ward Rice, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
