Mr. Stevens, who was born in Pennsylvania, December 12, 1842, leaves nine sons and daughters--Hugh Stevens, Santa Cruz, Cal., Roy Stevens, Pomona, Cal., Clarence Stevens, Dayville, Ore., Merton and Levi Stevens, Klamath Falls; Raymond Stevens, Rogue River, Mrs. W. Williams, Grant's Pass; Mrs. Linnie Connelly, Rogue River, and Mrs. Roy Guyer, Medford, Ore., 14 grand children and eight great grand children. Funeral services will be conducted at the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock Friday, November 25. Interment will be in Rogue River cemetery beside his wife, deceased many years ago.
