Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Wednesday, 5 Dec 1956, p. 15, c. 3
Mrs. Floretta Rebecca Stearns, 90, of 1425 Thomas rd., Medford, died in Salem 
Saturday. Mrs. Stearns was born at Koszta, Iowa, April 2, 1866. She was 
married to William F. Stearns July 3, 1884, at Loup, Neb., where they made 
their home until 1909. Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Rogers, 
Medford, Luella Cyr, Enghant, Alberta, Canada, and Nettie Mae Monroe, Mission, 
British Columbia, and 31 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren. Mrs. 
Stearns had been a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Medford since 
1923. Funeral services will be held at Perl Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Friday. 
The Rev. Raymond W. Hurn, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate. 
Interment will be in Rogue River cemetery.
