Mrs. Starboard was born on November 23, 1851, and at the time of death she was 77 years, six months and 29 days of age. She had lived in this state for the past 11 years, coming here from Idaho and during the last six years she had lived in Medford. She was the wife of William Starboard (deceased), a veteran of the Civil war. She was a kind and Christian character, being loved by all who came in contact with her. She leaves to mourn her loss six children, four daughters and two sons, Mrs. Anna Barney of Goshen, Utah, Mrs. Laura Martin of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Clara Burt of Medford, Mrs. Eunice Martin of Long Beach, Cal., Frederick J. Starboard and Frank W. Starboard of Medford. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Perl Funeral home and will be announced later.
