Spalding, 80, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. C. Clements, at Eagle Point, Ore., on Wednesday morning May 14, after a very brief illness. Deceased was born in Union county, Kentucky, April 15, 1850. He resided in Kansas City, Month., for 25 years and where he was engaged in the nursery business. He came to Eagle Point two and a half years ago to make his home with his daughter. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walter Weygant of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. W. C. Clements of Eagle Point; also six grand children and one brother, Ross Spalding, of Union county, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Father Meagher officiating. Interment in Medford cemetery. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Perl Funeral home.
