SNOOK CALLED BY DEATH Thadius L. Snook, 67, a resident of this community for the past six years, passed away at a local hospital early Thursday morning following a prolonged illness. Mr. Snook was a native of Iowa, moving to Utah in 1900. After residing there for five years he moved to the Pacific coast where he has resided since. He was employed by the Union and Southern Pacific railroads for many years. The past five years he had been engaged in farming. Besides his wife, Jennie, he is survived by seven children, Lloyd of Samoa, Cal., Glen, Francis and Weldon of Westwood, Cal., Mrs. Fay Menchill, Mrs. Laura Krueger and Helen, all of Westwood; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Lee, of Chico, Cal., and Mrs. C. B. Manahan, of Green River, Wyo., four brothers, Phinis of Ft. Collins, Colo., Evard, of Salem, Ore., Ed of Grand Island, Neb., and Walter of Trail, Ore. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Perl Funeral home.
