Smith, who died Monday at the Veterans Administration domiciliary center, Camp White, will be held in Conger-Morris chapel Thursday at 11 a.m., with Chaplain Henry W. Anderson officiating. Committal will be in Siskiyou Memorial park. Mr. Smith was born Aug. 31, 1893, in Vancouver, B. C. He served in the army during World War 1, as a sergeant in the Quartermaster corps, enlisting Aug. 3, 1917 at Enterprise, Ore., and leaving the service April 2, 1919, at Camp Lewis, Wash. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Emma Trambley, Portland, and a son, Charles Gray Smith, address unknown.
