Appropriate services were held at the home of her mother, Mrs. John Miller, Rev. Strange officiating. The choir, composed of Mrs. Gus Newbury, Miss Corinne Linn, Miss Sophia Muller and Wm. Gore, rendered beautiful selections. The floral offerings by friends who had known Mrs. Scott in early life were lovingly placed on her grave. Mrs. Scott was born in Jacksonville, March 23, 1867, and died in St. Louis, Missouri, September 28, 1900. Besides her husband, Edwin Scott, she leaves a mother, Mrs. John Miller, three sisters, Mrs. Callender, Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Kubli, and two brothers, John and Harry Miller.
