He was born in Vermont, Ill., October 19, 1895. On October 5, 1936, he was united in marriage to Louise Marshall at Moorhead, Minn. Mr. Sales, a veteran of World War I, was a member of the Disabled Veterans of Medford and also of the Eagles lodge. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mrs. Louise Sales of Jacksonville, two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Baker, now living in Arkansas, Mrs. Mildred Frost of Buena Park, Calif.; six brothers, Harry, Klickitat, Wash.; John R. and Ferman, Vancouver, Wash.; Herman, North Dakota; Isaac, in Canada, and Fred Sales, Medford; one sister, Mrs. Lela Jordan, Washington, D.C. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m., the Rev. L. C. Kirby of the First Methodist church will officiate and cremation will follow in Grant's Pass.
