ROWE, John L., Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 18 Aug
1939, p. 5 -- John L. Rowe, aged 80, pioneer of Jackson county,
passed away at his home in Sam's Valley at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. A
complete obituary will appear in a later issue of this paper.

Two daughters survive, Mrs. J. N. Edington and Mrs. T. B.
Edington, both of Sam's Valley. Funeral services will be conducted
by Rev. D. E. Millard at the grave side in the Sam's Valley cemetery
at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Conger Funeral Parlors are in charge of
arrangements.
