Coroner Conger and Dr. Holt were notified and upon investigation decided that death was due to heart disease. Mr. Rodgers arose from his bed about 3 o'clock a.m. with a severe pain in his chest and upon immediately lying down again passed away in a few minutes. He had been a sufferer with heart trouble prior to his death which leads to the belief that this was the cause of his passing. His wife was with him when the end came. Funeral services will be held at his home Sunday afternoon with interment in Antioch cemetery.
