The funeral of S. Robbins, whose death occurred at his home in Phoenix, 
January 22, was held from the family residence last Thursday, interment being 
made in the Phoenix cemetery. Mr. Robbins, who was about seventy years of age, 
crossed the plains to Oregon early in the ‘50s, and has resided in Jackson 
County for nearly fifteen years. He was an upright, honorable citizen and was 
universally respected. He leaves a family of six children, Mrs. Robbins having 
passed away last May.
